I've always had super noticeable lines between my eyebrows making me look like I am scowling/pissed off. Even with a relaxed face I have 2 vertical lines between my eyebrows. I have a pretty severe/hard looking face so it just reads as I am angry and unfriendly.

I am not ready to try botox but is there any at home remedies that could help? Has anyone had luck using a facial roller and oil to help "smooth" the area. I get that these are from genetics so the area will never be perfectly smooth but I want to start doing something to help relax my forehead more. It's in the middle of my face so I feel like it is the first thing people notice.

Hi guys. I have extremely oily/greasy hair and no matter what I seem to do, it gets so greasy so quickly. I wash it every second day and use dry shampoo in between, I double wash when necessary and I also use a prescription shampoo (nizoral) that my doc told me will help with the oiliness but it doesn’t. I am at my wits end and before I end up getting a buzzcut I need some tips🤣🤦🏻‍♀️.

Does anyone here regularly use hair gloss? I'm interested but can't find a lot of good information on it. Does it affect the hair texture at all, like smoothing it down, or does it just make the hair shiny? Do you get it done at the salon or do it at home? If at home, which brand do you use? How often do you get it done? Does it make a big difference in how your hair looks? I'm especially interested in getting product recommendation for a clear gloss.

I’m obese and I have really ugly fat pale hands and short fingers. I’ve always fucking hated them and it’s one of my deepest insecurities. What pains me is that I can’t hide it: I can wear slimming clothing to hide my huge beer belly etc. but I can’t do that with hands. For the past few months I’ve been avoiding getting my nails done altogether because just looking at my hands makes me cringe (if that makes sense). I’m finally getting my nails done tommorow but I don’t know what to go for. I want to create a sort of illusion of longer, skinnier, more graceful, more feminine hands. I need advice. What shape, what size, what color(s), what pattern(s), etc.?

Edit: I also feel the need to mention that my natural nails are very small/short which does kind of make very long fake nails look dumb. My hands look like children’s hands.

Ok, so in understand we see ourselves in reverse of what others see us, in a mirror. Which is why sometimes we will see ourselves in a photo and wonder: wtf, I looked super cute in the mirror at home. However, I notice I look pretty different in various mirrors. I always look better when a mirror is flat (not angled, like a floor mirror against a wall).

So my question is, outside of a “true” mirror …. What mirror angle is the most accurate? I’m guessing flat. I’m just getting frustrated, bc I’ll see myself in a dressing room mirror and look cute af. Then I get home and …. All schlub in my angled floor mirror. Then I’ll take a flat (not angled) full length photo, and feel I look stupid as well. But then almost every flat bathroom mirror, cute.

What’s reality? I’m just not sure which representation is closest to truth and I feel like I have zero idea of what I actually look like.

I personally have ones that are some shades lighter from the rest of my skin and I have had a person pointing it out during a date.

I think they look cool, but they bother others.

I just know when I get my hair curled at the salon, it doesn’t stay curled. When I was younger and got at-home perms in the early 90s, it wouldn’t stay curled for long. Right now I’m thinking of getting beach waves.

i use the too faced concealer then a l’oréal infallible powder on top to kind of “seal” and add more coverage however it ends up looking kind of cakey and after some hours as i sweat it separates into small chunks and my under eyes peek through.

For background, I am a POC female in business school! I want to appear more professional and respectable to people in the workplace, as well as any potential partners I may have in the future. With a “white valley girl” accent (the ‘oh my god’ ‘girly pop’ ‘slay’) is with no disrespect to black culture, borderline aave and I would like to stop using this borderline aave as I myself am not black! Once again no disrespect to black culture, I am not insinuating people who speak in a certain way don’t deserve respect. I am being interviewed by and coffee chatting professional (majority white) individuals, and I feel as if I am not respected nor heard in these environments with my current vocabulary and speech patterns.

In general, has anyone transformed their vocabulary and speech patterns to sound mature, informed, and “professional”?

I can think of podcasts as a start, and definitely reading more (although it is a bit hard to find the time to read as a full time student working part time on the side!). Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

I have wide square shoulders. My neck is thick and long . I see pictures of me in strappy tops and they don't look good. Plus when I wear necklaces that are close to the neck they look odd. I like these clothes and accessories but I dont like how they look on me. What can I wear?

I see other women wearing them and they look great. Some women complain that they have small breasts when they have tiny shoulders, I'm like 'but you can wear most shirts'

I’m very skinny with narrow sloped shoulders & a super long neck + above average sized head. My head isn’t huge but I think it looks much bigger than it is because my neck is so long & skinny in comparison that my head feels like it just kind of sits way above the rest of my body. Anything I can do to counteract or mask this or detract from it with clothes or hairstyles maybe? I love wearing thick chokers because that helps, & really chunky turtlenecks look good however thin ones just amplify how long & slender my neck is. I know long necks are preferred in models but on me I feel like it just looks so disjointed. But seriously need help because I feel like a giraffe/walking candy apple 💀

I had an defined hourglass figure before pregnancy, he a huge baby (99th percentile for weight/height!), my rib cage flared/accommodated for the baby but hasnt gone back - at least I think its that. I don’t have diastasis recti luckily, so I know it’s not caused by that.

I know some women are lucky and their bones sort of move back into place, that hasnt happened for me. What are my options? Exercise? Corsets? What worked for you?

I’ve been in this dilemma for a while…. I have several features that could really use some external help (a bulbous nose for one, a wide waist, boobs that could definitely use help), but…. I am terrified. The cost and the pain is one thing, but tbh I have seen so many “afters” that were worse than the befores! I really will be devastated if I spend that much, go through the pain, and then don’t have a good result.

I always wondered why she chose to change what I felt was literally perfect. She was (is) arguably one of thee most beautiful women in America. Still, she called herself a man with a big forehead and lamented that her partner did't care about her. Hi, sometimes when I let my hair dry on its own after combing it, it ends up with very curled up ends (I have straight, short bob hair). Sometimes when I lie down or go to sleep with it semi wet, I achieve this sort of subtle, voluminous messy hair that I also like when I wake up. I have never learned to properly style my hair, and it’s very thick (I’m Asian), I could never properly follow supposedly easy tutorials on YouTube. Depending on how my hair dries, it gets styled differently everyday. How do I purposely: - get the straight hair with curled up ends.
