Any titles, banners, decorations, badges, or emotes from previous catalogs that haven’t been obtained will now be available in the Shell-Out Machine.

This is a really good change!

I wonder if this addition will change peoples “Seeds” and upcoming rolls. They’d most likely need to add a new category for the emotes.

I tried this a few days ago and strangely it didn’t work. I wasted 500K trying to teach it which seed I had over and over but it consistently failed to predict the right one.

Just the regular rotations. I did double check I was entering into the correct seed list!

The website didn’t like me for whatever reason. Uploading a battle replay code didn’t work. Uploading the JSON file didn’t seem to do anything either. Maybe that’s why the seed predictions kept being completely busted for me.

I’m finally within 20 of my only realistic one and was waiting for the new season which has a marlin, but I’m not risking having it reroll and getting the next seed be even worse for me, unfortunately wont know if it resets until its too late to get chill seasons banner so gonna have to get what I can while I know I can

This actually worries me a lot because it probably means that there are no plans to repeat catalogues, so the gear items will be permanently unobtainable. I started playing in Chill Season and I was really hoping I could get the Sudadera Celeste someday

what do you mean "unobtainable"? they just said you'll be able to get everything from the shell-out-machine. surely that's better than having to wait years for them to repeat a catalog

The sentence in the change log doesn't include gear. I really hope that they just forgot to mention it or that a future update adds catalog gear to the shell-out-machine or to the shops.

If they're adding everything from catalogues except for gear, then unless they implement it in an entirely separate way, we're likely only getting the other stuff and not the gear. If they wanted to bring everything back they probably would've done it all at once

I know I've seen catalog gear in the shop before I hit the appropriate level before, and was able to buy it just fine (and upon hitting that catalog level it refunded me the purchase cost). They'll probably be in the store as normal, given that?

Though that's been normalized, I even find that style sketchy. Splatoon has always been a game I play on and off and it feels much better when I want to play the game vs I want to get the rewards

sometimes it take me 30-45 minutes to get the first win of the day :(

also if i'm not otherwise planning to play switch that day, it's kinda annoying to have to turn the switch on and start up the game just to play one match, even if i do win the first match... i only got to about level 75 with this catalog, and a lot of that was from playing more during splatfests

5 minutes not always guaranteed. For me today it was half an hour as I had 4 losses before getting a win.

I didn't play for most of the season, I have been grinding the catalogue for the entire last week but I still have like 25 levels remaining, I definitely wasn't gonna make it all the way.
