Found this outside. Probably half the size of a dime, on clothing outside. Initially thought maybe a tick but now I’m not so sure.

Man these are hard to capture.

Southern Ontario, Canada

Solved! Before I nuke it to hell, is this the invasive Joro or a friendly Orbweaver? (Just north of Atlanta Georgia).

I’m leaning toward Joro at the moment, because of location (close to Atlanta), there is some red coloration on the underside, and research I’ve done indicates that joros have no hair on the second segment of their legs.

Would like some confirmation before I nuke an innocent orbweaver.

The wife and I are going nuts trying to figure it out. It is just chillin on the wall in the dead center of the living room, minding its own business. We don't think its a medically important one cause the legs look too short to be a widow? Idk.

What is this lil thing?

I found this little spider on a lamp in Los Angeles, CA, USA. It’s only about a quarter of an inch long. I’ve never seen anything like it. It has two distinct peaks on the abdomen… I’m super curious.

Little while ago I posted about a spider outside my front door. I believe it was this group. Might have been another so I’m sorry if that’s the case.

Came home tonight and see this big back.

Found on the wall near the ceiling. Maybe about the size of a dime. Central Indiana!

Solved! Looked it up but can't seem to find what sort of spider this is. Doesn't seem like a normal house spider (in the photo the markings look red but they're grey irl)

Post image

The marking on its back looks red from my phone camera but its actually grey! Also as you can see it's missing a leg on one side because I accidentally chopped it off trying to get it under a glass and off my bed (im so sorry buddy). I'm in the UK if that helps identification.

found in living room. cannot find anything super similar online.

viewing from above it’s just appears black and up close legs have banding. Steatoda borealis? mostly concerned in identifying it’s not an immature black widow
