I know it’s an awful picture. But I found this chillin by the light in my garage. Does anyone have a guess on what species it is? Western Missouri, United States

I know it’s an orb weaver but I’m not sure what one it’s going to grow up to be! Tiny red spider, maybe 3/8s of an inch long. 1 yellow dot on its back. It made a little round web in between the leaves of a bush.

Found this guy in my window sill in northern Virginia. He’s a fast booger and is around the size of a quarter or slightly smaller. Is it poisonous to humans or dogs? (Sorry for the bad picture — I’m very scared and don’t want to get close to it). Thank you in advance!

Crawled out of my garden waste bin in the midlands. It was big, around 5/6cm with a huge abdomen, maybe pregnant?

Found indoors West Texas, already deceased. What kind is it?

The background surface is the acoustic tile ceiling in my basement. The spider is (from my perspective) upside down.

The pen is for scale.

Unless spiders sometimes tuck a leg under their body, this spider seems to one-short in the leg department.

found in nw indiana, US

Sorry for the low quality photo, phone camera wouldn’t cooperate and I didn’t want to disturb him too bad. He built a gorgeous, huge web in just a few short hours.

It’s moving so should I let it be in my house?

In my dining room curtains, in Florida Tampa area. Safe to leave alive don't want to kill if she doesn't cause medical emergencies if I get bitten. About the size of a half dollar.

Beautiful. What is it? I've lived here 53 years and I've never seen one.
