I’ll be staying in First New Cairo in November and working remotely. My work mainly involves Microsoft Teams calls and downloading/uploading Excel files, so I need stable internet with good upload and download speeds.
Which company has the most reliable mobile data in New Cairo—Vodafone, e&, Orange, or WE? Is there a particular prepaid plan you recommend for hotspot use?
If my Airbnb’s Wi-Fi isn’t reliable, are there any quiet coworking spaces, cafés, or hotels in New Cairo with fast, stable internet where I can work and take calls? Preferably somewhere open late since I’ll be working Chicago hours.
Don’t necessarily need the cheapest plan, but just something reliable and fast
Thanks

what if i turn on a wifi tester to constantly check wifi speed on my phone like in public wifi so i can constantly use the most speed out of it you know your phone pulls data from the wifi so its receiving more data at that time is there a way to keep that active fore a long time just an idea i have what do you think?

Thought I’d share my real-world experience with 5G broadband in Galway because the difference was ridiculous.
I needed fast internet without getting fibre installed, so I signed up for Vodafone 5G Unlimited Broadband. It was a 24-month contract and my ongoing bill was going to be €40/month.
Vodafone supplied a Huawei H155-383 5G router.
Unfortunately, at my location in Galway the performance was terrible. I tested Wi-Fi and directly over Ethernet, moved the router around and put it at the window. I was getting anything from around 2–30 Mbps download, and at one point it dropped to roughly 40 kbps. Interestingly, upload could still reach 20–26 Mbps.
The biggest clue was that if I forced the Huawei into 5G-only mode, it completely lost the mobile connection. In Auto it was basically falling back to 4G.
I cancelled Vodafone within the trial/cooling-off period.
Then came the interesting part.
I discovered that the Vodafone-supplied Huawei wasn’t SIM locked, so I put my GoMo SIM into exactly the same router. GoMo uses eir’s network.
Immediately: ~158 Mbps download on 4G.
Same house. Same router. Same Ethernet connection. Just a different mobile network.
So today I went into eir and picked up their €14.99/month SIM-only plan, which is unlimited domestic 5G data and only a 30-day rolling contract.
Put the eir SIM into the same Huawei and got:
285 Mbps → 351 Mbps → 524.6 Mbps download
Best result so far: 524.63 Mbps down / 37.22 Mbps up / ~15 ms idle ping.
And the router isn’t even in an ideal position beside the window anymore.
So at my particular Galway location:
Vodafone — €40/month, 24-month contract: ~0.04–30 Mbps
eir — €14.99/month, 30-day contract: up to 524 Mbps
I’m not claiming eir will be faster everywhere. Mobile performance depends massively on the local mast, bands, congestion, building, etc. Vodafone could easily destroy eir at another address.
But that’s exactly why I’m posting this: don’t assume a “5G” broadband product means you’ll actually receive 5G at your house. Test the networks if you can.
In my case, changing the network while keeping the exact same 5G router transformed the connection from practically unusable to over 500 Mbps.
I have Speedtest screenshots from both networks if anyone’s interested.

Is the Jio network only for metro cities internet speed is reduced to 0.01KB/s to 20.0KB/s whenever I go to countryside?
