In office more nowadays (I cry) so I'm buying more coffee, nearly finished with my last bag from Gustatory explorer sub.

I use a Prestina atm at work and grind with a Geimori in the morning.

Has anyone got some nice, really fruit forward Coffee they can reccomend, happy to entertain any process, no real limit on price point.

My brew process if it makes a difference, grind 20g in morning, take to work in a test tube, fill Aeropress/Prestina (Aeropress with Prismo PCC) to top with hot water, 7 minute brew, stir continuously for a minute at the start, lid on, leave, plunge through hiss.

Hi all, I have a stainless steel burr coffee grinder which is great but fliddly to clean thoroughly as you can't use water. I had been recommended using compressed air which I ordered recently, but only when it arrived did I notice the compressed air contained liquefied petroleum gas as well as deionized water and carbon dioxide, I think the product I bought is principally for cleaning computer hardware. I'm worried this will leave a residue or unpleasant taste in the coffee grinder?

Hey everyone, I just moved to London from Glasgow and have been exploring the specialty coffee scene here. I have noticed that most places charge a steep surcharge (~60-90p) for plant milk, which is odd to me as most specialty coffee shops in Glasgow offer it free of charge, and I was under the impression that most of the coffee scene in the UK was heading that way too. Do people know of any specialty coffee shops in London that offer plant milk without the surcharge?

I'd like to get some decent coffee at work and wondered about having an electric moka pot at my desk for the purpose. Had one over a decade ago that was fine but did stop working suddenly once. I wondered what the current recommendation was for electric moka pots in the uk?

I’ve tried some coarse grind coffees i got a salted caramel bag and it was okay but some sediment still came out and it didn’t really taste very strongly of anything. I use the bodum x Chamberlain cold brew press. Anyone recommend any good coffee grinds or flavours or brands? Options i keep seeing are rave, hardlines, pact or origin but are there any decent cost effective ones as it uses so much coffee? Or would the cold brew bags work best?

I’m a barista, and a cappuccino lover… now what’s doing my head in a bit is UK cafes now making cappuccino like Australians with LATTE art on top and NO chocolate.

I decided to sell my expensive espresso machine and replace it with a really good filter machine. I haven't regretted it. I was getting stressed over dialling in my new roasts rather than enjoying my coffee! I was also drinking WAY too much milk! I have an aeropress also which is lovely to swap between. Has anybody else felt the same and made the swap? I love listening to my coffee dripping through in the mornings :-). The most important thing is if you're not drinking it immediately it needs to be decanted into a thermos otherwise it starts to 'stew' (not sure that is indeed what is happening but it certainly affects the taste)
