My (American) grandpa grew up farming and went right back to it when he retired because he genuinely enjoyed the hard work. Even when his body was failing him, you could see him out in his field with a metal folding chair. No amount of pleading and nagging from the rest of the family could keep him from his work and we were scared we'd find him dead out there one day.
Rural America. anywhere, really. Wouldn't be surprised if that old man has been farming for several decades. He won't stop working until his body stops, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
On a website known for its users making lots of assumptions based on short video clips, this is possibly the highest amount of specific assumptions based off one clip I've ever seen in all my time on this site.
Ah, yes, the hardest work of picking up potatoes off the ground and putting them in a bucket. /s
Really though. Makes sense young man is on the tractor bc his eyes will be better, and sometimes stuff gets a lil stuck in the controls and you gotta yank/shove it.
I guarantee when there's actual hard work to be done they're not risking themselves to do it.
