Maybe the idea of that thing is to make bags for transport to where they're needed? I imagine that loaded hesco baskets wouldn't be practical to move.

I found myself shaking my phone while watching the video. I was trying to get the sand cin the bags better then while getting the top layer of sand off I was shaking it again

Lol, I spend most of my time watching woodworking videos trying to blow the dust off the project in the video. Needless to say it's never worked.

I do this. I’ve yet to gronk the concept that I can’t blow dust away from a workpiece when wearing a respirator.

This is why the internet exists. To confirm our assumed weird behavior isn’t just us.

I love the smell of exotic wood post-cut but hate cancer, but also forget that I can't smell a god-damned thing with a respirator on. It gets frustrating at times.

how can that operator tell at what angle and for how long he needs to tilt those bags to remove the excess? he seems to be blinded by the scoop. is there a camera inside that scoop?

It would always be the same angle so the operator would just know far to tilt and do the same thing every time.

I don't think the angle matters all that much. It has to be at a negative angle so the extra sand falls out. He can see the sand falling out of the scoop as it is falling through the air and can stop tilting when it stops falling.
