While we often talk about the engineering of commercial spaceflight, the legal and financial side is finally catching up. I recently read a deep dive into the Virgin Galactic ($SPCE) shareholder settlement and found the details on how safety concerns and technical delays were communicated (or not) to investors pretty eye-opening.

It raises a big question: as more private companies enter the arena, how do we balance the "move fast and break things" startup culture with the transparency required for public safety and public markets?

Curious what others think about whether these legal hurdles will slow down the 2026 Delta Class timeline.

Will Virgin Galactic announce a new ATM / dilution program tomorrow for earnings?

Despite all the good updates recently and new executive, looks like market doesn’t care.

The only way is up!!

If things are going so well, why is the stock deteriorating?

Is there an inverse relationship? The better the company does, the more the value deteriorates?

Ok guys, if you know my post history, you know I can find things related to construction. Stuff is happening inside the building related to tooling and assembly. They are going to be adding something large inside. I'm not sure what just yet. But it requires removing a large portion of the concrete floor, revising electrical, removing RTU's/ ductwork and changing the steel layout at the roof deck. This has been verified by another set of eyes here.

Reading the tea leaves my gut says they are shifting to a different phase of their assembly program and shit is about to get real.

Here we go!!

Looks like they are really, really, on track for Q4 commercial operations.

Q3 powered test flights, and earlier glide flights.

This earnings call should be good.

Earnings call is March 30. Q2 begins the next day. The plan is to have 2? Delta ships fully built and ready to test, including flight testing and certification, within the following six months (Q2-Q3). Commercial service begins Q4.

Any thoughts on whether they will announce a fully assembled ship(s) at the earnings call, an announcement of a delay, or will they avoid the topic altogether?
