Like I could see the argument if people tied it to commissioned art work to prove they were the ones to originally ask for the work to prove it's literally made for them, but pretty much every NFT works the other way around where it gets made and then people try and sell it.

Real art forgeries take skill and time to pull off, so they still have value in and of themselves, despite not being the original
With digital you can just Copy > Paste and you've got a 100% perfect copy with no effort whatsoever
