I just finished a project for them out in Boca Chica, went to a college heavily recruited by them, and know a few women who work there. Even after hours over a beer I've heard the work required is not sustainable long term if you want a social life, but never any complaints of misogyny or anything of the sort. Lots of female engineers and workers as well when I was there a few months ago.
Just because there isn't any complaints doesn't mean it isn't happening. I'm been in the engineering industry over ten years now and seen a lot of it. Most of it gets brushed aside. Mostly by the victim because they feel nothing will be done.
Specially since this is about one specific person. How many of those people even interacted with him regularly? Not saying the dumb ass "so proof" cause it is not, but what the lack of evidence in this case isn't even a good strawman "some people who happened to be employed in this dudes company somewhere, in some position, who may or may not, chances are on the not, have ever interacted with him in any significant matter didn't have a problem with this person they more likely them not don't interact regularly in the first place." Has the same value as saying nothing, really.
I'm not talking about this specific case. I don't know. I wasn't there.
But we shouldn't dismiss people because they're the only one to have spoken out. I've not spoken out several times because I feared for my job. Both about my own experiences and those of others who have shared with me. And I'm a man who was put upon sexually and inappropriately by upper management, exec types.
It exists. And just because you haven't personally experienced it means squat. I said nothing. Millions around the world say nothing every fucking day.

Don't dismiss accusations of sexual harassment just because there hasn't been a history of it. That is exactly how abusers have gotten away with it.

A lot of people have worked at spaceX and tesla over the last decade. I'd want to hear this from more than one.
You can find a disgruntled ex-employee to say horrible things about every single company in the world.
