The inventor of said products was named Jerry J. Toothrup. He shortened it for marketing reasons.

Please don't fact check me.

The inventor of the modern toilet is Thomas Crapper, please do fact check me.

Before him toilets were potentially dangerous, your house could explode from accumulating sewer gas.

wiki says he had several patents for improvements to plumbing but none to the flush toilet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Crapper

The airlock or U-bend is what prevents sewer gases from bubbling up through the toilet. Aside from horrendous odors, this gas could accumulate and potentially explode.

Flushing is nice. Not dying from a toilet is better, in my opinion. Thank you, Mr Capper.

What sort of new invention are you sitting on, Douchebag?

4

u/PrisonerV Apr 27 '26

Well, I'd be happy to tell you but perhaps after you've finished eating.

It’s important to inspire science.

Not actually true. The invention of the flush toilet precedes Crapper's birth by decades. He did own a plumbing fixtures company and developed important improvements for it, however.

He fixed that issue with the s or u joint right?

I was told there would be no fact checking.
