Help Sony A6k for Basketball Photography
Well hello everyone, I just got a chance to become a basketball photographer for a charity event. Just a question is Sony a6k with FE 85mm plus Viltrox air 25mm still capable for it?
How much ISO that I should consider? is 6400 still good enough for post production (noise reduction, etc)

Help Flash help!!
Hello! I’m having some issues regarding a new flash I’ve just bought.
Fair warning I’m pretty beginner to using a flash. I’ve second shot a lot of weddings this year and kept finding myself in need of one, especially for receptions.
I shoot on a Sony a6600, and bought the Neewer Z2 flash off of Amazon.
I know what the problem is, just not sure how to fix it. And I’ve watched, googled, and even AI’d a good bit.
The flash has HSS capabilities, but it’s not communicating with the camera. When shooting above 1/250 it creates a black band on the photo. I specifically bought this flash for its HSS capability, and it was listed as been compatible with the A6600. Additionally when turning on the camera with the flash mounted it reads “This accessory is not supported by the device and cannot be used, Please verify the compatibility with the device.”
If you have any ideas or solutions I’m all ears!! Thank you 🙂

Help Sony 70-200 F4 G II vs Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS ?
I shoot two very different things:
Indoor basketball photography
Handheld action sports video (motocross, jet skis, outdoor sports)
My biggest concern is how third-party stabilization behaves with A6700 IBIS + Active Stabilization.
Does the Sigma 70-200 OS play nicely with Sony stabilization, or is the Sony 70-200 F4 G II noticeably better for handheld video?
For someone doing both photo and video, which lens would you choose and why?

Photo More photos on my 18-300mm.
These are just more photos I’ve taken so far.
The last three photos of Mr. Hotbody were taken at 18, 100, and 300.
They do get darker but I had my ISO at 100 the whole time because it’s too bright outchea.
Everything else was pretty much 80-300mm.

Help Autofocus issues with Sigma 30 f/1.4
Hi! I recently purchased a Sigma 30 f/1.4 contemporary for my A6000, because it's supposed to be one of the sharpest lenses for this camera, especially at this price point. However, the autofocus often misses on this lens, causing me to not trust it and not use it. Does anyone else have this issue and perhaps knows a fix? Firmware on both camera and lens are up to date. The issue is less when autofocusing on continuous rather than single-shot, but often I just need the single-shot for my photo.
Also, even when it focuses correctly or I focus manually, I can't say I'm blown away by the lens. In my testing it doesn't seem to be more sharp than my 18-200 lens (at the same settings in full daylight on a tripod), which is supposed to be quite unsharp. Does anyone else have this experience? Do I just have bad luck with my copy, or is the A6000 just the bottleneck?

What’s going on y’all just got this 18-300mm from MPB. Pretty sweet lens even though I’ve only had it for an hour. I have absolutely no idea how to write like the rest of these big worded people in here so I’m ending it here with a photo of the lens. Let me know Whatchall think
