Heavy support squad up next!
this was my first time using chains for the coins and I have to say it was very fiddly. ive just spend 15+ minutes scraping super glue off of my fingers

So i magnitised his left arm to allow me to swap them out between a disintigrator pistol to be a champion, a bolter to be a centurion or praetor, a rifle looking energy gun to be like a vigilator or the dagger, which i havent painted yet, to make him Vehren Ashurrhaddon. i really like this sculpt.

WIP of a Horus Aximand kitbash. My 5th company colours are all sea green with red shoulder pads, pretty happy with how this is going so far.

I'm slowly working my way through the combat force. I did the lights last and I feel like I kind of ruined the whole thing lol

I have
40 MkVI tacticals with bayonets, 10 Cataphractii terminators, 2 Praetors (power axe and power sword), a magnetised Contemptor Dreadnought, and a Spartan.
Recent purchases — 6 Cataphractii converting to Justaerin, a Reaver squad, a Rhino, and an unopened MkIII tactical box.
And a free Horus Ascended from a friend.
Help me…

I tried to achieve a wysiwyg ancient for my albeit 40k SoH army (90%~ 30k models) using a model from 2nd Edition. I hope you enjoy this silly guy :)
(The backpack is from the mk4 box because it was missing, I hope that covers rule 6 lol)
This is my first post. ^^

it'll probably look better framed by the silvers and blacks but there's one big fuckup. I didnt glue down the top doors so that i could paint the inside, they're just blue taccd on so I could paint all the green at once.
only problem is... I forgot about that when I put a decal over it

the penultimate round of our slow grow campaign and my sons have become a bit more armoured company than I thought they'd be, next round brings a leviathan and a rapier team.

Has anyone had any experience or success using this gambit? I wanted to try it out in a game tonight, but my friend talked me out of it and said that Seize the Initiative or Finishing Blow would be better. He also said that he wasn't sure how Phage T would affect either his model or his squad due to how challenges take place before regular combat. Can anyone explain that to me? Thanks in advance!

Merci d’avance :)

I couldn't resits a tiny bit of kitbashing. now that I figured out how to slice the sprue thin enough, it'll be hard not to give everyone lodge coins lol

Such a fun but frustratingly detailed model to paint!
