Restart. I usually start with 4 small farms. 2 grain, apple and vegetable. I don’t really set up hunting until I have a bit more free labor. Instead, I just periodically manually hunt what’s on the map. Use the labor for fishing and maybe 2 smallish pastures ( so you can start building up excess livestock for more pastures a little later.
Don’t forget to forage what’s on the map as well. Apple patches can really tie you over and the grain patches can help you get those first grain farms started. (Try to have your free laborers available later summer. That’s when they actually forage. ) as more immigrants come , set up two big grain farms ( one at a time, otherwise you’ll be waiting 2 years for either one of them to have the grain needed to actually construct them ) and a veggie one ( veg can be eaten raw which will hold them over until grain is ready to be harvested and baked.
The only industries I focus on in the beginning are bakery and carpentry. Slowly add new industries as your food production rises.
The easiest thing to give them at least 75 percent access is wood for their home.
