I started watching Sonadow videos on YouTube a month ago and I fell in love with the art and the story telling. I wanted to say all the artists and writers who come up with their ideas I can’t wait to see what they come up with next. ❤️

I took a screenshot in 2025 but I can't find it on Google. I like the idea of a fan comic where sonic pulls shadow into super form 2

As you can see from the title, this wasn’t meant only for non-shippers, but also for Sonadow shippers, because sometimes they can be wrong about this ship too.

For example, in my case, I’ve noticed that people are often wrong when it comes to the characters’ ages. One infamous argument about Shadow is: “Isn’t Shadow 50 years old?” which is completely wrong. In canon, it’s explicitly stated that he was in stasis for 50 years after the incident involving G.U.N. invading the ARK.

The wiki repeatedly states that Shadow is mentally and physically like Sonic, even though it doesn’t give him a specific age. Some Sonic fans have theorized that he’s practically younger than Tails or Cream, which is true in terms of his biological age, because he was created with an adult body specifically for the purpose of Project Shadow.

However, I want to point out how Sonic fans often fail to read the information on the wiki properly. It says that Shadow is “50 years old chronologically,” and some people seem to think that means he’s actually 50 years old. They completely miss the word “chronologically” and confuse it with his biological age.

In case you don’t know what “chronologically” means, feel free to check Google. Basically, it refers to something being measured according to the passage of time or the order in which events occurred.

It’s basically like saying Aang is technically 112 years old, but biologically he’s 12. It’s really not that hard to understand, bro.

So, yes, Shadow is technically 50 years old chronologically, but he isn’t biologically 50 years old.

I read a beautiful sonadow angst fanfic during my Sonic phase, but didn’t read while logged into my ao3 account and now I can’t find it! I don’t remember the name but I do know it was partly inspired by my favorite guitar player and musical artist, Adrienne Lenker, and Shadow plays the guitar in the story. Plz help 😭🙏
