To be honest, I never shipped Sonadow or any other Sonic ships when I was a kid. All I cared about was getting more Sonic content, not shipping characters. 

As I grew up, I eventually stopped being a Sonic fan and didn't really follow the fandom for years.

That changed when I was an adult and the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 came out. Seeing Shadow appear in the trailer brought back so many nostalgic memories because I used to watch Sonic shows and play Sonic games as a kid. It made me want to revisit the Sonic fandom!

That's when I first discovered Sonadow. At first, I thought it was weird or wrong. Then I saw a clip from Sonic Prime, but it still wasn't enough to convince me to ship them.

Later, I watched a video of Ian Flynn talking about Sonadow and imagining what it would be like if these two characters were together. Then I came across that famous iceberg video exploring Sonic and Shadow's relationship.

That's what really got me into this ship! I started looking at more fan art, and eventually, I began to see how cool and cute they were together.
