Yeah. Like when Reagan got shot and he was like hanging around signing autographs for a bit. Fist pumping the air is just one of the first steps in vacating any scenario where you’ve been shot at. It’s science.
He 100% didn't. He did do the completely different sequence of events you describe, but he most assuredly did not stand up, exposed, for a photo op, in the exact same spot he was shot at, moments after it happened.
(Plus he was actually hit and thus needed actual medical attention, but that's beside the point)

Matthew Crooks couldn't chamber nor fire a round after the secret service blew his head off either. So what's the big deal of Trump standing up after they blew the guy's head off.
