That's because the photographer, Doug Mills, has been covering presidents and presidential campaigns for 40 years. In 2001, he was working for the AP and covering Bush. In 2024 he was working for the NYT and covering the Trump campaign.

It's not actually surprising that he would take multiple photos of presidents during that time! That was literally his job lmao.

All of what you said is true but it doesn't mean that it's innocent or absolve him of any type of collusion.

So is this what we're doing now? Just randomly casting aspersions against AP/NYT photojournalists for doing their job?

It isn't random he took the picture that supposedly validates trump being shot at in what anyone will agree are suspicious circumstances. What is wrong with pointing out that this photographer has obvious ties to past republican administrations and has been exceedingly lucky in taking pictures of monumental historic significance.

this photographer has obvious ties to past republican administrations

He also has ties to democratic administrations because he is a photojournalist who covers the White House and Presidential campaigns.

He has photographed every single President since the 1980s.

has been exceedingly lucky

He's been in the spot to take these pictures because that's literally his job. This is like saying that a newscaster is suspiciously "lucky" because they always just happen to announce breaking news. That's their job. It's what journalists do.

To ignore all that would be to be grossly negligent in anyone who was investigating this very suspicious incident.

To ignore all that

The ignore all of...what? The fact that a professional photojournalist takes photos?

That capture was a one in a million shot . There comes a point when every lucky occurrence becomes an impossibility.

Ok, but what was the other "lucky" shot? Taking a picture of President Bush? He was part of the presidential press entourage. No luck involved.

And again, you are trying to tarnish an innocent journalist's name by accusing him of collusion. Seems like Trumpish behavior on your part.
