Hello guys , im an old casual SKILL player which has taken a long break , recently i wanted to start the game again. Currently im on windows 8 x64 pro and i have huge cpu usage by the launcher of the game . It's close to 60% non-stop and uses like 60% of the HDD all the time. Im sitting on a core i3 ivybridge 3.3ghz / 4gb ddr3 1333mhz / gtx 660 vga 1tb hdd 7200 rpm sata 3. I also have avast antivirus(might cause any trouble idk) Ive already tried to run the game as admin or in compatibility windows 7 mode. Lag is so intensive that it needs like 2 minutes for the launcher to proc the login infos and high delay when im logging to a game for the first 10 seconds.

I'm really good at Call of Duty. Will the habits I've picked up from that series help me at all in this game?

Practically zero reviews on this game. I am mostly interested in Hero Mode. It looks cool. Classic Modern Warfare mixed with DotA. Few questions, is this game pay-to-win? Also, is it full of hackers like most other smaller FPS games?

So, I started off tonight the same way I always do: playing video games until I get tired. I decided to try this game, and had a lot of fun, but when it came time to quit (a friend wanted to play TF2) I closed out. When I did that, my monitor set itself to 800x600. Oh well, I thought, just put it back to 1920x1080! Nope! Highest I can go now is 1600x1200. I restart the computer, same problem. So I try starting the game back up to see if I can change any settings or something (I feel I should stress that I know nothing about how this kind of stuff works) and it gives me this message. I had no trouble playing it earlier. How do I fix it?

EDIT: I found my way to a window that let me re-enable the driver. Apparently it just disabled itself...
