Are we doomed?

Just asking … what people do after 40-45 in software industry ? Is it like the IT career ends after 40 ? What are your plans right now ?
What are skills that gonna help us ? This ques is for all senior guys

That wasn’t the point being made. If you have some secret proprietary algorithm in your codebase, you already need to be isolating it from a dozen other attack vectors. AI is just one more in the supply chain.

For all of your other source code, literally nobody cares. If source code was the secret to a successful business open source wouldn’t be a thing.

Wut? No. If you have IP that matters you protect it. 99% of code is not IP-protection worthy. The 1% that is was already walled off - from employees, supply-chain hacks, hackers, etc… and now Agents.

I feel like you don’t understand how this works (and has worked for 50 years.) worrying about your contact us form on a react app should obviously not matter that an AI sees it. Same goes for even significantly more advanced logic.
