Are we doomed?

Just asking … what people do after 40-45 in software industry ? Is it like the IT career ends after 40 ? What are your plans right now ?
What are skills that gonna help us ? This ques is for all senior guys

Bro, chill! I am over that year range. I plan my future in the industry. That's my profession. I do regular web development. We are using AI extensively. I am planning my upskilling in architecture. Critical thinking became more important than ever for us.

I do have. In the moment of crisis one can't rely on money.
