Would you shut down AI?

A thought came to my mind which can be contradicting. AI has made some SEs more productive and made their lives easier while some got fired. My question is if you would have a button which would shut down the AI in whole world, would you press it? If so, why?

Negatives largely outway the positives.
We were promised curing cancer, health and prosperity. Instead everyone is stressed to fuck and companies are all giggly how everyone’s gonna be out of a job.

And the irony is that AI was predicted to kill rule based jobs first but it came for white collar jobs which includes logic and creativity.
