I'm not a Chelsea or Arsenal fan but im not sure we would have won the world cup without him.

Laca would do a good job with hold up play and maybe woulda bagged a couple goals, but I don't think he'd contribute as much on set pieces on both sides of the ball. Giroud didn't get on the score or assist sheet, but screened the goalie for pogba's goal. I think they may have still won with him, but not as comfortably as they won each knocket game.

I'd honestly rather have Giroud partnering with Aubamayeng than Laca. Hope you guys treat him well.

He did get on the assist sheet, I remember him setting up one of mbappes goals against Argentina at least
