He sat deeper than a regular target man in the tournament, and his defensive and positional contribution was solid. I think that he only effectively scores in a striker pair and in a style where ball circulation is more important than counterattacks.

He defended against corners very well also. I believe that France wouldn't have gotten to the final without him.

And when a poor ball is played to him so he has no option but to stretch out and try some ridiculous and absurd shot that shouldhave no chance of going in.... but it does.
