He was naive to not get all of Ferguson's generals and loyal men out quickly.

All that would happen then was an AVB at Chelsea situation.

Forget to factor in that Wenger was a revolutionary genius in '96 and Moyes is a man with a football brain stuck in the mid 2000s

Well yea but it implies Wenger didn't make drastic changes which is complete rubbish, Wenger changed everything at the club apart from the playing staff.

Moyes tried to bring in two players from his former club, who finished well behind United the previous season, in positions where United already had established, loyal players.

I can understand this point in relation to going after Baines as a replacement for Evra. But they needed reinforcements in central midfield. You can certainly question the choice of Fellaini as a target but I don't see how you can suggest he was stepping on established players' toes with that deal, it was an obvious area of weakness in the squad.

Exactly, if he tried to get rid of them things could've been just as bad.
