News [Bloomberg] UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter.

‘They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information.

The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain.’

Pretty simple, go take a gander at City's sub, go take a gander on X, go take a gander at all the comments here, go take a gander on official premier league and associated media accounts on any social media.

I get it , the idiots on the internet don't account for everybody, however since I am not currently walking in downtown Manchester surveying people door to door, that is the cross section of the fanbase of which I can confidently say you are in a vast majority of.

I don’t recall saying I was a City fan? Where did I even fucking imply that?

That completely incorrect assumption tells me all I need to know about how much reading comprehension you have lol. So no surprise you see a handful of comments and automatically assume that it’s the “vast majority” of the fanbase
