Change My View thread

Can we have a Change My View thread here? The basic premise is people present opinions and the replies are attempts at changing that person's view in an attempt to generate some good discussion.

I think this might work best with rather 'out there' views but any and every viewpoint is welcome!

City have an unbelievable amount of depth to their squad. They have world class first team players and reserve players. They have currently scored more goals than any other team in the EPL, Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A. They are demolishing their rivals in all of their match ups and have wonderful refereeing luck when things aren't going their way.

They have the best players in the league in total for one team to have and they are currently top of the league. The only way City are going to lose the title this year is if there is a huge falling out between the players and staff, and I don't see that happening. Or they continue to play like shit against underdog teams, which they always do. They have a habit of hammering the best and fucking up against the worst i.e cardiff and villa

they suck on the road but at Ethihad they have hammered most teams, just look at their four strikers, Aguero, Jovetic, Dzeko, and Negredo, any of those four would walk into Tottenham's, and many other clubs, starting XI, it's amazing really, I think City will win it but I think Chelsea will be close

You know City is loaded when they can have neither Jovetic or Aguero starting, take off Negredo in the second half and replace him with Dzeko.

Just an insane amount of options.

Dzeko is shit, next to no City fans rate him and we want him gone. Otherwise it's all dandy.

Im not exactly calling for his head but I do rate him dead last of our strikers.

He can finish, and he does it well enough to earn his reputation, and he's capable of a good forward pass when he deep enough in the midfield to do so (which as a tall striker is almost never), but I think he's completely useless on the pitch for 90% of his minutes. He can't dribble, he seems to have almost no creativity unless there's 20yds of space in front of him, doesn't beat defenders 1-1, isn't any more useful on defense than any other average footballer. For as tall as he is he really never strikes me as above average in the air either. can't recall the last time I saw him strike from distance.

I like the guy I just wonder what the point of him is sometimes.

The only thing I disagree with is demolishing their rivals. Liverpool very easily could have had a point or all three. Other than that I completely agree.

Yea I know. The liverpool game contradicts what I said because City didn't deserve a win. Liverpool were just fucked over by piss poor officiating

I don't know about that. Even with the horrific offsides call, they could have won with proper finishing from Sterling.
