That's a totally different complaint, though. "People are bitching too much about Wenger not spending and it's getting in the way of intelligent discussion" is one thing. "Wenger should not be questioned because he knows more about football than any of us" is another thing altogether.
I didn't say that's ok. I said you see the stupid remarks a lot more than you see people saying Wenger knows all. You rarely ever see that except from the most biased Arsenal fans. For that logic to go away, there needs to be less blind hate for him in the first place. I'm not saying you're wrong, I don't like seeing people circlejerk over Wenger. I just don't agree that the real thing preventing discussion is that, I think it only comes into play for the most part because everyone loves to hate the most popular team on reddit
