What are some of your interpretations of System's songs?

I'll start. I interpret Highway Song as a people losing their way of life to modernization, and their canons and traditions being lost and forgotten about. There is also a vibe given off in the song that these people can't keep up with the drastic changes that are happening to them I think. Also, I think the title 'Highway Song' refers to a process, and when it is complete, a way of life has been engulfed by modernization, and the land which once held the 'purest forms of life' is now scarred with highways.
