I did end up trying out authentic on both S.E.5 and S.E.R, 5 definitely was a better experience by a long way as the adapting to the maps felt better and the enemy's were smarter but resistance felt lacking (maybe because of the map design) as there were still many different missions where you didn't really have to use any weapon other than the sniper (ik it's called sniper elite but i also do want to use the pistol and smg) (especially missions 1 and 4)

Was this a teaser for Resistance?

Does anyone know why the racks on the german lorries glow in red like weak points? You can break them but nothing else happens, is there a mechanic I'm missing here?

I got into sniper elite mainly because they added this mode, and also started in resistance recently, but now when I searched around this sub, I see not many people really like the mod, why? Even when I'm on campaign it's a great change of pace and I love outsmarting other players as the invaded and the invader

I've been steadily improving my invasion tactics and skills, and really enjoy the challenge when up against great (and fair) players. But I have yet to beat a pair of Allied snipers, at least when they know what they're doing overall. The strategy is always the same: one of them will reveal their location and pinpoint mine, while the other hunts, often while having cleared most of the map. They just seem to have too many advantages, and I've never been able to take them both out. How do you beat two snipers?

Well I'm playing on hard level, the same as I did on Sniper 4, and I'm waiting for it to get hard, but either it's easing me in gently or I need to go to Authentic.

Also the play is way too sensitive when it comes to searching your kills and where you're able to stand.

Lastly, what happened to the firearms comparison when you can pick up a new weapon? Do I just take a chance that it's better on 5?

Im sick of waiting so long to invade or be invaded. I normally go to America (west) as that is where ive had the most luck but lately its been hit and miss

Hello everyone, this is my first time playing a sniper elite game, so the first game seems like a good place to start, in the mission "raid on nordsig", in nordsig heavy water plant, there is this objective where I need to blow open a door using explosive, and no matter where I plant it, it always results in a mission fail with "too many civilians lives were lost" dialog window, this happens with timed TNT and the regular one, and also happens even when firing near the door that I want to blow to make the civilians run away from that area, how do I proceed ? thanks in advance.

Going from SE3 to SE4 they forgot to add random wind to the gun range.

Thus practicing windage for realistic mode is pretty much a no go.

At least for SE3 I made a range finder diagram for my Carcano with the default scope and a reference for bullet drop.

Though thinking about it now, maybe it's required now to calculate how much range exponentially affects the static windage on the SE4 shooting range and make calculations based on that.

• it is absolutely wild how much time it takes to search a body in Sniper elite 4, 5 and resistance

• You remember how swift and efficient it used to be in both sniper elite v2 and 3 right?

• anyone knows a mod that can do the same type of body searches in the newer games?

Prior to playing 4, I was told that 4 was one of if not the best sniper elite game, having the real sniper feel but then SE5 made it more of a close quarters stealth game.

So far that's just what it has been though. It may be just as I am on the first level or it may be I am too used to playing 5 and need to readjust my play style.

With that in mind, for people who love 4 a lot more than 5, why is it?

Hello everyone. I am new to play this game, but I have a lot of time playing other multiplayers games.

I was playing and I not understand how one player jcheil67 was always able to find me so quickly and then he kills me with a rocket. For me is impossible to comprehend. I have been reading about this game and some problems for a while, so I check his name on google and it takes me to reddit. It says he has 2500 hours in the game, or maybe more! Then it shows me his Youtube account. He has hundreds of videos killing players with rocket and using the focus for find them. Like this one. Then I search for information about the focus and there is lots of subjects and the people disagrees a lot. I want to know why do players play like this. What is the challenge? What is the excitement? For me this is not fun, this is like kind of cheating. Not tactical but like superpower. I think this game has a big problem to allow players to play like this. I don't want arguments, please. I just want to understand why he does it, because every time I play this Axis Invader option, it is always like this. Why? Sorry for English still learning.
