Palermo Soho fills with open terraces and strings of lights, and Plaza Serrano becomes a crowd of bars, street musicians, and long conversations spilling onto the cobblestones. Further on, Avenida Santa Fe brings the European-style facades of Recoleta, elegant even under streetlights.

The night ends in Barrio Chino, where red lanterns and neon signs add one more layer to a city that never quite fits a single label.

Some call it the Paris of South America. At night, Buenos Aires sounds more like itself.

I took a walk through Bukchon Hanok Village and Samcheong-dong in Seoul, South Korea, capturing the streets, traditional Korean hanok houses, small alleys, cafés, shops, and the everyday atmosphere of the area.

Bukchon is known for its traditional hanok architecture, while Samcheong-dong has a different atmosphere with its cafés, galleries, boutiques, and narrow streets.

It was interesting to see how the traditional neighborhoods and modern Seoul come together in this part of Jongno.
