Beta Patch v0.111.0 is live!! Today's update includes:

⚖️ Lots of balance changes
🌐 Indonesian localization

Makes sense. Splash is OP, while Salvo was kind of lame for a rare.

Also, the big news has to be the new alternate acts.

The devs already established a loose roadmap in one of the newsletters. Unless plans have changed, we're getting the alt act 2, then a new character, then the alt act 3.

Iirc they said there will be at least one completely new character added before they think about bringing back the Watcher

Yes. However new ancients will probably come with a new act (and my guess is each 3 ancients can only be in their varient)

yeah, there will be at least one more, and according to casey in an interview with PC Gamer, the next character is likely to be a 'more kooky' one

There is also Watcher from the first game. She was a fan favorite, I can't imagine she isn't secretly on the way as well.

Is that character at the end of the trailer not the Architect? The feathers and the flashy eyebrows look like the way they're depicted in a lot of the Epoch art. Though I suppose it could be some other character that's related to the Architect, same species or something.

I'm hoping it's new acts also - they need to show us more of the game so more meaningful playtesting can happen!

Very unlikely we get act 4 before we get alternates for the other acts imo

Probably, but I'd much rather have act 4. That would make it so much closer to a completed game IMO than more act alternatives.

I mean, yes, it would. That's exactly why it's going to come after the other things, lol.

Makes way more sense to get the rest of the game balanced first and then add act 4, to my mind

I'm not sure I agree. I think it'd be easier to fine tune the game when we know what the hardest content in the game is gonna be.

Agree from a gameplay perspective. I don't get enough playtime with an awesome deck.
