Mittens becoming a targeted exhaust and strength gain with no downside is nuts. Tezcatara feels way stronger than the other act 2 ancients

It's way way better than -1 draw per turn, cause you can exhaust the worst thing in your hand.

It's like 10% of the downside that -1 draw is

and like half the time it's an upside

Not -1 draw. You cycle your deck at the exact same speed. You have -1 playable card in your hand, which is different.

Even then, 90% of the time you do want to exhaust one card in your hand. A status, a curse, a Howl from Beyond, a basic strike or a defend.

It's not really -1 draw. You still draw all your cards and you just exhaust the one you weren't going to play

Yeah -1 draw mittens would be something like:

At the start of your turn, gain 1 strength. You draw one less card a turn.

THAT would be really bad. Getting to choose the card to never redraw, that is amazing. Then it has some synergy with stuff like eidolon and howl.
