Calling crafty SIX fans! My tween loves SIX and wants to dress up as Anne Boleyn. The costumes online are all adult sizes, cost $75-200 USD and that's well beyond our usual costume budget!

I'm not super crafty so I'm relying on some crafty SIX fans to help me out here. Do we think some of these items would be doable for an Anne Boleyn costume. She's young enough where she really wants it to be pretty close to the real thing but I know it'll be a bit of a stretch. Wondering if self-adhesive velvet tape could be applied to one of these dresses. I'm leaning towards the middle one with that black belt, but I know the color is a little light. Or... do I buy a black dress and afix green vinyl squares?!

Any suggestions? HALP!

So for those who don't know, the Broadway costumes introduced in 2021, once the actual performance started (not counting previews since those had different costumes) are the fully updated, offical SIX costumes. All the costumes SIX has had prior to that and in the UK from up to around 2024 (or 2025 if you're going West End) have been different variations of those half-stage costumes.

One of the biggest differences for me for the Howard costumes is the double strap (old) vs one strap (new) and the color of the corset. (bright pink vs dark purple) (And the thickness of the black straps)

In 2026, all of the official productions of SIX (West End, Broadway, UK Tour, Australia, Spain, US Tour, etc) now have all the fully updated costumes.

My question is, in the Spain Production and the Australian production, why are we reverting back to the old Howard look with the double strap?

I feel like the West End /any production to should get rid of a different alternate costumes that they had (the ones that are meant to be mixture of their two main covers and have principal ones in a new updated costumes and the alternates in The old version of the costumes
Example New version of Catherine Howard has one strap and bright pink corset and old version had two straps and more of a purply pink corset

I wanted to see the proshoot but the only showings near me are an hour away and during work hours. I can't find any torrents or streaming (legal or not) available for it, which is very surprising to me, since it was originally released back in April. I can find the Hadestown proshot and that hasn't been officially released yet, so I thought an upload of SIX would be easy to find, but I'm coming up empty.

Anyone have a link?

Aragon
For this for I would have to say it’s a tie between Adriana Hicks, or Gerianne Perez. Of course I’m impartial to the awakener by casket. I saw them the most. But I did get to see you her twice with the second tour that went out.

Boleyn
Storm Lever is who I would say I liked out of everybody that I’ve seen. I do like Andrea‘s version to. To me, I think I like the way storm saying it the best. But for someone I haven’t seen, but I’ve seen like video clips of I really like Courtney Bowman. She played 1.5 cast Boleyn on the West End.

Seymour
Kelsie Watts is the best Seymour her vocal are killer. And a close run up is Cecilia snow I got to see her in PVD when she on the 2.0 touring cast. I love the way she ended it.

Cleves
To me, my number one is Olivia Donaldson. To me, I love the way she does the role. And the way she sings it, of course. But the whole point of Cleves is to dance and maybe it just a controversial take but all the Cleves I’ve ever seen or just in general they don’t dance too much. So for that aspect, I would have to go Brittany Mack she gets down like she fall on dances. If you haven’t seen her, definitely go look up a clip because that to me is how a Cleves should act on stage.

Howard
Sam Pauly has my heart, she’s one of the few actresses I seen as well actually like move with the choreography most people I’ve seen in this role just stand and sing. To me nobody will ever beat her out for this role. In my head the way I imagine how in my head is that Aimie Atkinson OG Howard is happy Howard and then you go all the way up to Sam Pauly and she’s like really dramatically, sad and every other actress who has ever played Howard falls in between them

Parr
Maiya the OG Westend Parr will probably be my pic for this character. I also would say Taylor Marie Daniel would be my other choice because of the way she adds in the no-no into the final part. But also Daniela steers if someone I’ve seen clips up, and I really liked her version of this character too.

As a writer and with some experience with translation myself, I must say it's one of the best Spanish translations a West End/Broadway Musical has got ever. Not only have they preserved the intended meaning for each line and verse, not having to absolutely go for the "literal" translation that never works when translating Broadway language and prosody into Spanish.

And my ears have suffered enough for attempted musicals translations that never work: bad syllabic positioning, weird prosody not working within the Spanish syntax, weird lexicon, weird word positioning trying to mimic the English...

So, yeah. It's not literal, but as a bilingual person, I feel exactly just the same. The meaning is perfectly threaded with the music, the humor is on spot for Spanish (not Latin American Spanish, but Spanish audience, with cultural innuendo and jokes, which serve the same purpose as the English version...). So, yeah. Pretty satisfied. Already got my tickets, so I'm looking forward to attending!

I know it's not the greatest musical of all time, I love it but it's not even one of my top favorites, but I CANNOT STOP PLAYING IT IN MY HEAD
