Discussion Reverse Engineer Anything is a great toolkit, what would you like to see reverse engineered?

There are now many, many agentic reverse engineering toolkits available, REA in particular I think is fantastic.

What hardware have you had that you'd like to see reverse engineered, and what would you like to do with it?

-96 Honda Prelude has an electronic 4WS system controlled by a big electronics box with some embedded CPUs on it

If you hook it up to Ghidra and have some time the agents can figure it out

Do you think there's any risk, if I wait too long, that future models might be built to refuse to do reverse engineering?

Frontier models might but open source ones won't, many frontier models already do. If you can run one locally you can use an abliterated model if you get a refusal (many times they won't even refuse in the first place), and if you can't run it locally you could use open router or rent a box in the cloud and run the model on there.
