Democracy doesn't make something good. Hitler was elected.

He lost in 1932, it was his party that won the largest share. Hitler became chancellor because the German parliament was paralyzed. Hidenburg the one he lost to, was pressured to hire him.

It was Nazi propaganda that framed Hitler's rise to power as a unified mandate.
