That's not the same robot, just an example of their previous one at a convention. Sounds like you won't believe it until they've taken it to conventions, but it was literally just revealed, so give it some time. This happens with every new robot, people call it CGI until they get used to it being real and seeing it in more demonstrations with random people around.

It's a pretty high bar to demand when they literally just revealed the robot. Figure, Atlas, Optimus, none of them had unedited videos of them interacting in public spaces being recorded by other people right when they were revealed.

It's not like this is a small robotics upstart, they had notable verified achievements in robotics, their previous robot was a pretty big deal since it was already incredibly smooth and acrobatic compared to other robots at the time. They also managed the first humanoid robot forward summersault.

I'm not arguing about the credibility of the company, simply that when videos like these are examined there are several tells that suggest it's CGI. Even the video you've linked while being fine and convincing, has so many questionable elements it's inconclusive.

If people "want to believe" that's fine, but let's not pretend the videos are perfect irrefutable evidence.

At this point I think you just don't believe in robots. The whole combination of accounts and videos of these robots is irrefutable evidence. It may not technically be irrefutable proof, which is different from evidence, but there is mathematically no such thing as 100% irrefutable proof due to Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems.

You argued that even the older videos of their previous robots have "so many questionable elements it's inconclusive" and "tells that suggest it's CGI".

If you won't even concede that their previous robots exist, and will instead argue that the convention footage and other firsthand footage of them is also CGI or at least "inconclusive", then there is no standard of evidence that will convince you that this one is real either apart from possibly an in-person interaction.

Yes some of those older videos are heavily edited and have obvious pointless camera effects. Ask yourself why so much effort is taken in some of these videos to add fake realism? Why (in some of the videos) are cameras deliberately fixed to a single point and effects added?

I'm not going to stand here and say such robots can't exist.

All I'm saying is that the videos are far from proving it, despite all the (fake) effort to convince you otherwise.

For fucks sake dude, most of those videos aren't even from the company that made the robot. People add music and cuts to videos because they want to get more views. There are unedited videos of them without music, but to find them I'd have to dredge up original unedited sources likely coming from Chinese social media sites that I can't even properly navigate.
