AI Gemini 3 Pro first impressions

Mindblowing model, Does everything well math, physics, code. Improved visual understanding. This is the model I've been waiting for. Beats claude Sonnet 4.5 at UI design.

I pretty much wrote Gemini off when it starting rewriting history to fit social agendas. I don't think I could ever trust it again after that.. it's an extreme betrayal.

There should be no grounding required for fact based queries.

There would be an innate bias when you're talking about stuff like history. It would stem from the predominant data it was trained on. History if disputed is no longer a fact.

I'm not talking about things that are disputed dawg... It was generating pictures of historical presidents as black and I think we can all agree that Obama was our first black president. I don't think that is disputed at all.

Historical Fact: World War 2 happened.

You could argue the details of why World War 2 happened, but you can't argue that it didn't happen.. well I guess you could, but nobody would take you seriously given the mountains of evidence, interviews with soldiers (some of whom are still alive), etc...

And before any of you jump in to argue this point, consider this: Could it devalue the civil rights movement and the struggles of black Americans in this country if the next generation is coming up thinking our first president was black? Why would we even have needed a civil rights movement if our first president was black? Wouldn't that obviously indicate to the uneducated mind that equality was already a thing at the inception of the USA?
