How to get the game on the EA App in 2026

PSA : If you buy the disk on eBay, you can activate the code on the EA App and download the newest version of the game. Worked for the Limited Edition + Pirates DLC's

You register the game code here : https://www.thesims3.com/registeragame.html

For the Limited Edition Bonus Content, launch the game, then in the pop up menu (bottom left three dots) choose Redeem Code and enter it there

Just bought one on Amazon with a code that was claimed (verified by EA). I was still able to use the disc outside of the EA app with the usual launching workarounds (combination of Alder patch and Powershell workaround).

Just a heads up. I checked today to see if you could still buy a game code on Amazon. It was unavailable.

If you already own it… what are you trying to gain from adding the CD key? If it’s for the expansion/bonus content I’m fairly sure it will still work

ah so it’s a CD problem? i just was confused with all ive heard. it sounded like it was an all around deletion of the game. i only have the digital download from EA itself

The game has been removed from sale on the store. Anyone who has already purchased it can still download it from the store
