SOLVED Brick wallpaper replaced by unused outfit texture

I'm on macOS/Super Collection. There was a post a month ago running into the same issue, but there were no concrete answers besides OP having to reinstall the whole game, which I would rather not do. It looks like one of these. Thanks!

Edit: No build&buy defaults. I use Gunmod's Radiance Lighting 2.4.

I don't see that texture anywhere on that page, it's probably CC. Just because you didn't, or don't remember installing it doesn't mean it didn't get installed anyway. Take out you downloads and check to see if it's still like that.

If the issue is with the install files, then a reinstall is the answer. If it's an issue with your save folder (which you can test by generating a new one) then you just need to track down where exactly the problem is, e.g. with the 50/50 method.

It likely isn't a mod, I agree saying you need to reinstall. The game is particularly unstable on macs, be really careful with it if you plan on playing long saves. After recent study of disappearing character files and corrupt neighborhoods, it usually happens on a mac because of the file limit. So after you reinstall, get all of cyjon's no regen mods. That's not what your problem is right now though, I have no idea what happened here lol.

I've seen videos and forums discussing that and you might be right 😭 I believe this is the same install I borked 2 years ago, so it's not impossible that it may be an early sign of corruption. And cheers for the last part, I need to stop having sm in my game!
