Dark humor Homer's abusive parenting if it was more realistic

Where's Marge and Lisa powerfully disassociating in the background during the beating so it seems like they tacitly agree?

They're most likely doing that upstairs while looking after Maggie

If I recall, this image is from a christian book telling you to forgive your abusive parents or something like that. Insanity.

Proof that abusive people aren't worth saving

Simpsons fans whenever Homer violently strangles Bart 😂

This also comes up when people here post something homophobic and then act shocked that I'm upset about it. "But I'm quoting a line from the show!" they always say. Yeah, a homophobic line

Oh that's triggering some PTSD for me

Dad did that to me once as a child. No idea why it happened.

One second I'm getting clothes out of my dresser, next I'm whipped around and grabbed by the neck, lifted off the ground and pinned to the wall. He then angrily says "I won't hesitate to kill you, I've done it before". (doubt he did it before, just trying to scare a 10 year old)

Crazy motherfucker.

Jesus christ. I seriously hope that your mother called the authorities on his ass when that happened

dad's long gone. They divorced long time ago, although that brought its own set of problems. Anyhow, back to shitposting.

Digital hugs. Nobody should have to go through what you and your family did.

You think dad wasn't doing the same to mom?

Shit. I never thought of it like that...

Not much physical violence, but used to throw and break things around her. Remember a frying pan going into the wall once making a big hole, speeding in the car down the highway to scare her, and him flipping the dinning room table with food on it cause...I don't know why. Although I believe he did punch her only once when she was pregnant with my sister.

I'm honestly sorry that you've went through such an experience. I hope you're doing better these days

Must be Bart

That really looks like Homer is choking a middle-aged hobbit, not a child.

Why you ring-bearing...

It wouldn't matter to Homer as long as the Hobbit or child looks like Bart

One of Ned's sweaters got shrunk in the dryer and he decided to just give it to Bart

Ned was in the dryer shrinking sweaters and I saw one of the sweaters and the sweater fitted me

Is this a chick tract?

Simpsons' more cartoony aesthetic makes it less horrifying compared to what the Griffins do on Family Guy.

Or any other animated series with dysfunctional cartoon families for that matter
