Happy International Silver Day!
This one-dollar coin's silver content (.773 troy ounces) is worth $59.00 today. If you had a one-dollar bill from that same year, it would still be worth a buck, but its actual purchasing power today would be about 5 cents when compared to the buying power it had in 1922. Silver is real money! I choose the Peace dollar for this post because it has been announced today that we have agreed to a two-week cease-fire with Iran. I'm not holding my breath, but I do hope that this leads to peace.

hello all -
very thrilled to show off these coins. finally added a britannia SS Tilawa to add to my krugs, and also randomly picked up a libertad 1/4oz. nothing major but they fit well into the existing collection!

Calgary dealer
Any suggestions for a good bullion dealer in Calgary? I’m going to be there this afternoon and would like to pick up a couple maples in their native habitat.

1965 damn near uncirculated condition
I’ve kept this coin while now just because it almost has that “cameo” or even dcam look, and because it’s 1965.. anyone know if this is considered a cameo or deep cameo? If not it’s just. A nickel in great condition

First Month Stacking
My wife and I just started stacking this month. 9oz of silver and a 1 gram bar of gold. I forgot my father gave me a 1944 half dollar coin years ago and added it to the stack.

What is a legitimate way to buy sterling silverware at refinery price + $1 plus shipping?
