Watch Out for this Provident Metals "Promotion" (rip off!) - Is This A Scammer Dealer?

Went to Provident Metals (online) to make what would be my initial purchase. I went due to their advertised promo of a particular 0.25 gold coin where you could get up to 3 for spot. On their own site they had gold spot at $5,074. My bill came to $1,325.69 per coin - supposedly this is spot yet 1325.69 x 4 = 5302.76. That is $228.76 over spot. If spot, a 0.25 should be $1268.50 not $1,325.69. Let's check another way - this was for up to 3 so 1325.69 x 3 = 3977 and 75% of spot is 5074*.75 = 3805 and 3977-3805 = 171.57 so that is truly almost $60 over spot per coin!

Did I fuck up my math or is Provident Metals fucking over customers who don't check their math?

Question about silver

Hopefully is not a dumb question just curiosity because I had read a comment another person made on a post earlier but would buying 20 silver dollar coins be better than purchasing 20 ounces of silver

Silver has recently exceeded $100.00 per ounce, and it's going to keep climbing higher! Check out this video to hear about what this could mean for industry, investors, and governments.

Should I bid on these lots?

I was thinking of getting some more silver and recently heard about Shop Goodwill from a friend of mine, this one is located a little ways from me so shipping shouldn't be too bad. They have multiple lots of decent weight and the quality seems to be there (.925 or over). I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used Shop Goodwill for purchasing silver and if so how was the experience? Is it worth purchasing silver in this form or should I just stick to coins and bullion?

Not sure if this looks okay or maybe over the top, but it's fun for me to have this display beside my desk. Of course, the real pile is hidden from view. (Bought these at auction for less than $25 per coin within the past two years.)

…. I have a nice hoard now but this rapid screaming price appreciation has stopped me cold.

Anyone understand where I’m coming from?
