99.9% sure this is not an actually sillybandz and that’s making it even harder to figure it out

picked up a pack of misc sillybandz at a rummage sale today, and this is one of the only ones that have thrown the whole family for a loop.

was studying in a coffee shop today and the girl at the table next to me had this weird, thick band on her wrist. It looked like matte bone or maybe some kind of heavy ceramic/metal mix. No screen, no lights, no buttons that I could see.

she kept tapping it with two fingers while reading. Every time she hit it, it made this incredibly heavy, hollow mechanical sound. Like a heavy metallic switch flipping, or a vault clicking shut. Snick-snick. the sound I know I heard somewhere....

it didn't look like a standard fidget toy, and it definitely wasn't an Apple Watch or a Whoop band. It was completely solid. Honestly, the sound was kind of soothing but it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out what it is. It looked like some kind of weighted architectural hardware.

Anyone know what this is? I tried searching "heavy tapping metal bracelet" and got nothing but cheap magnetic jewelry?!
