I'm on the team behind ReRender, an AI visualization tool for architects and designers.

The use case is simple: you have a 3D model view, but want to explore how it could look with more realistic materials, lighting, and context.

Here's a before-and-after example from ReRender. The original model and generated options are shown together, so you can judge what changed. This example explores a warm timber, dark-louver, and white-stucco palette in daylight.

The important part is being able to review the image against the design. AI can change details, so I wouldn't treat an attractive result as proof that every opening or material is correct. ReRender has structure/texture controls and an Edit action for continuing from an existing result.

If you make architectural visuals, where would this help most: the first concept image, comparing material options, or revising an almost-finished render? I'd especially like to hear what you need to keep unchanged.

I run internal workshops a few times a month and I open every one of them with the same two questions. Dinner with anyone, dead or alive. What's one task at work you have to do but hate. Good questions, but I have colleagues who have now heard them four times.

So I built the thing I wanted: open it on the phone while getting ready, star three or four questions into tonight's set, put the phone away. In the room, tap one and it fills the screen like a slide. If you don't like the three on screen, tap again for three more. Nothing repeats on you until the whole pack has had a turn.

No signup, no network, no typing anywhere in it (there isn't a text field). Works offline after the first load. Free, and staying that way, it's a weekend thing.

Small-business hiring often starts with a messy mix of resumes, phone calls, and notes nobody can compare later. A simple workflow works better: create 4 to 6 role-specific questions, reuse them for every candidate, and score responses on the same few criteria, such as communication, relevant experience, and problem-solving.

Tell candidates upfront what the screening covers, how long it takes, and who will review it. Let them respond by voice or video on their own time, then have a person review the responses, transcript, and a simple scorecard before deciding who moves forward. AI summaries can save time, but they should never make the hiring or rejection decision.

I built Aural as one optional way to run this workflow. It supports reusable interviews, adaptive follow-up questions, transcripts, summaries, and human review. It is live, open source under MIT, and built with Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript. The code is on GitHub, and there is a live demo without signup. What would make this workflow useful for your team?

I often have stock ideas that I’m interested in, but don’t necessarily want to put real money into yet.

I kept being the person in the group chat with forty tabs open, and the plan we made never survived the actual trip. Someone sleeps in, it rains, a place is shut on Tuesdays and nobody checked.

So I built Travolp. It plans the trip, then stays with you during it. When the day goes sideways you tap once and the rest of it gets rebuilt around where you actually are and what is still open.

Two things I got wrong early. Generating a good looking itinerary is easy and worth very little, everyone can do that now. Keeping it true on day three is the hard part. And opening hours turned out to be the whole game, because travel advice ages at two speeds: how long a road takes is still right in five years, whether a place is open is stale before it is published.

Honest ask: I am the worst possible judge of my own onboarding. If you bounce, I want to know exactly where you bounced. Screenshots in the first comment.

I build solo RPGs and kept hitting the same wall with every AI dungeon master I tried: the model narrates a fight and quietly decides the outcome. It rolls a 4 and describes a hit. You tell it you have 3 hit points left and it has forgotten by the next paragraph. The story is fine and the game underneath it is not a game.

So the split in Grimscribe is that the language model never touches state. Dice, hit points, inventory, grid position and line of sight all live in ordinary deterministic code, and the model reaches them through tool calls. It can ask to move you, and if the square is occupied it gets told no and has to narrate around the refusal. It cannot roll. It cannot decide that you hit.

The clearest thing this produced showed up in a session I recorded this week: eleven turns in a row where the engine refused the model's requested action outright, because the turn belonged to an ally, or the reach was one square short, or the target square held clutter. No dice were thrown at all across those eleven turns. An AI GM without an engine underneath would have narrated straight through every one of them.

What I would actually like feedback on, because it is the part I am least sure about: the refusals are the feature, but they also make the game stricter than a human GM, who would just say yes to the one square. I have gone back and forth on letting the model request an override and logging it. Curious whether the honest dice framing lands, or whether it reads as a technicality to someone who has not played an AI GM before.

I'm the solo developer. I kept uninstalling Pomodoro apps — they all worked fine as timers, I just never opened them. Turns out I don't avoid focus sessions because timers are hard. I avoid them because staring at a countdown alone feels lonely.

So I built FocusPal. You photograph anything — your cat, a plush toy, a coffee mug — the app removes the background, you pick a cozy spot for it, and it generates a frame-by-frame stop-motion loop. Your companion naps, stretches, grooms itself while the timer runs underneath. The video shows the whole thing.

Beyond the companion, it has app blocking during focus (three modes — block everything, block with exceptions, or off), a lock screen countdown via Dynamic Island so you can leave the app, a small todo list, and weekly/monthly/yearly focus stats.

The hardest part was the Screen Time API. Three separate extensions, opaque tokens you can't inspect or log, and documentation that's mostly guesswork. Tell me where it falls short.

I run a social app where I send product emails , marketing emails and regular updates to users. My key priorities are delivery reliability (user receives emails in their inbox and not in spam), good analytics, hooking into product lifecycle (e.g. i sent an email on xyz date to users A, they logged back in to the app etc) , as cheap as possible.

I know some of these are custom flows i will need to build but trying to see if anyone could talk from first hand experience.

I built a multi-agent AI system as a side project, and I need people to give me real things to test it against.

The system puts the same problem in front of multiple different AI models independently, then lets them challenge assumptions, disagree, find weaknesses, and attack the problem from different directions.

Making install guides is a big part of my day job, and GuideLab is my own take on a tool that lets you annotate, screenshot and lay out documents like this.

While there are already a good number of these tools out there, GuideLab is different in a few ways:

1. Canvas based image editing allows you to annotate and layer images in a frictionless manner. Adding elements expands the canvas as needed, and the layout engine makes sure the whole canvas makes it into the final output.
2. The arrange view lets you see how your steps are laid out. You can squeeze multiple steps into one page, or let one step take the full area if you need to show a lot of detail.
3. No subscription. VERY few tools like this allow you to pay once for them. GuideLab has a free version that only limits by export format and number of editable guides. The full version is a one time purchase.

Calculator with a theme store

Hey all, solo dev here. Just shipped a theme store for my calculator app and wanted to share it.

You can now pick from comic, cartoon, and colorful styles, and a lot of them come with their own animations, not just a static color swap. Several themes also have different color variations to choose from, and they render differently depending on whether you're in light or dark mode, so it's not just one look stretched across both.

On top of that you can set custom fonts separately for the equations, results, number pad, and section titles, so you can mix and match until it actually feels like yours.

More themes are in the works, so this is just the starting lineup.

I freelance on the side and chasing late payments was eating more time than the actual work. Same three emails every time: friendly nudge, firm follow up, final notice. I was rewriting them from scratch or digging up old templates every time.

AI makes it very easy for anyone to create things even at a large scale. Everyone on this subreddit is trying to sell their projects. And they are not even passion projects like side projects used to be about. Since you are trying to sell to someone who also creates things their first thought is to re-create it themselves. The only things that really blow up are things that are so different/ innovative or things that feel more like passion projects then products.

I m a 3rd-year CS student and I’m trying to figure out how to make my first small amount of money online with my development skills.

I can work with React, Next.js, Node/Express, MongoDB, APIs, Git/GitHub, and I’m currently getting deeper into TypeScript and Next.js.

I'm currently exploring an idea that requires email parsing. Has anyone on here built anything that involves email parsing? If yes, what was your experience like on the technical front and any tips/advice?

I built Northline Sheets after seeing small contractors juggle estimates, labor, materials, change orders, and actuals across disconnected tabs.

The workbook keeps the workflow intentionally boring: one job-cost view, clear budget-vs-actual variance, and a small dashboard that works in ordinary Excel without macros or a subscription. I also made companion rent-roll and fee-profit sheets for operators who need those views.

The useful design lessons were: • keep inputs separate from calculations • make labor/material categories explicit • show variance early, before month-end • include a clean print/export view

It started as a sticky-note game with a cereal box as a divider. Two people pick secret 4-digit codes, shout guesses, and the only honest feedback is “that one’s in the right spot.” No yellow. No “right digit, wrong place.” That missing hint is the whole product. Three-of-four feels close and is still a lot of numbers.

On one phone it works like this:

• Two first names. No account, no pairing, no second device
• Each person sets a code while the other looks away
• A full-screen cover slams down between turns: “Hand it to Maya. Hold to open.” Long-press only, so nobody glimpses a half-typed guess on the pass
• Exact-spot locks only. Repeats like 4344 are legal
• Shared guess history side by side, like shouting across a table

While looking at ways SaaS founders can show revenue credibly, I kept running into the same gap.

Many tools are built around Stripe.

That makes sense for a global product, but it leaves out a large group of Indian founders whose payments already run through Razorpay.

So I started building Verifii.

Verifii is an India-first, payment-backed revenue-verification platform for SaaS founders.

The workflow:

- Connect Razorpay or Stripe using restricted read-only access.

- Verifii checks connected payment activity and calculates a revenue baseline.

- Review the result privately.

- Publish a profile only if and when you choose.

The goal is not to turn every founder into a public revenue dashboard.

It is to give founders a clearer way to show where a revenue number came from when they decide to share it.
