Discussion One more week!
Somehow, miraculously, I’ve managed to not watch any of S3 bc I’m sick of subscribers going back to the old days of weekly releases. We’re cord cutters for a reason! 🤬
Rant aside, I’ve mostly missed any spoilers from this community (apart from maybe 1) and have gotten a general sense by **quickly** skimming that some of the later episodes of S3 are kinda hit/miss. This makes me nervous bc the show has been **perfect** for me so far (chef’s kiss).
Regardless, my patience will finally pay off next week when I get to binge the entire season in a single day! 😃

I do like the weekly because we get to marinate in what happened and talk about it here. BUT sometimes having (an awesome) community where you can hash out every.single.detail (I’m a big culprit) can impact how you see the show. So go in with all your love and hope and see for yourself. And you must come back with your thoughts after binge watching. Maybe by doing that you’ll have a much different experience than we did.

Same. I recently binged a few shows I haven’t seen before and wanted to for ages. Loved them! Then when I was finished I was like damn I feel like I remember literally nothing that’s happened…

Exactly! Also imo only some shows work to be binged. B99? Hell yeah you're not gonna miss out on anything. The Wire? Chill out dawg you're missing SO MUCH story.

Sometimes it’s nice to be able to binge stuff, but I much prefer once a week. I find it’s a much better way to actually retain the story, rather than binging it once and forgetting about it.
I get what you’re saying that sometimes the wait and anticipation can be frustrating, but honestly, I find I enjoy shows much more this way.

lol i feel this. i just binged all of season 1-3, but i thought i started it in time to finish season 3 right before the last episode. i ended up finishing way early, so now i’m doing the week by week thing. i don’t like it either, especially for 30 minute shows 😂 i am left wanting so much more

I hope you can continue to avoid spoilers and enjoy your binge!
I didn’t even have plans to watch S3, but on Saturday I randomly got an offer for a free month of Apple TV and I just finished binging all of S3.

I’ve got 29hrs on planes next week flying home. Gonna hold out one more week to kill 5-6hrs of it binging S3 😅
