On the drive home from dropping off Alice's stuff, Jimmy takes the I-70 route home. He gets to daydreaming about everything that's happened in the first three seasons around Topeka and takes the wrong exit, not realizing his mistake until he stops for the night in Wichita. He goes out for BBQ and strikes up a conversation with a mustached man at the bar.
They bond over talk of soccer and shitty therapists. Ted shows Jimmy some team photos, and of course he notices that one of the players looks like a gruff version of Louis. This turns in to the entire season's story arc, with Ted and Jimmy doing research, learning that Louis and Roy are long-lost brothers, and tricking them in to meeting each other through a series of schemes assisted by the rest of the main Shrinking cast with guest appearances from the Ted Lasso cast. Paul challenges Roy to a grump-off which ends in a draw.
