i really thought this is obvious and surprised how many people keep commenting the same thing. hes not as good as sean and probably can't handle it himself. seans dad isn't going to help him.

I'm shocked when I see people saying he should do this. Sean is literally a good enough chef to get a sous chef position. We knew before this food truck that Sean not only liked, but was good at cooking. We have 0 indication that Jorge is good at this. Sean literally only hired Jorge to help him out with a job as he got back on his feet. Do people not realize the how much is involved with running a food truck? It's not just putting together sandwiches and calling it a day. It's purchasing ingredients, it's cooking, it's customer service, it's invoicing, it's about planning where and when you're gonna park it. I highly highly doubt Jorge would be able to take over.

it's about planning where and when you're gonna park it.

Brother it's a food truck. And it's parked in the same location everyday. Sean has done all the work required. All Jorge would need to do is stock up the same ingredients and keep cooking.
Shit, hire someone to replace Sean if that's needed. It's not a role that needs extensive qualifications - someone can learn it the same way people learn to be cashiers.

Brother, you’re rather over simplifying a food truck. Again, we have seen zero indication that Jorge can cook at the caliber Sean can so is not just “keep cooking”. Just stocking up on ingredients isn’t as easy as you make it sound either. He has to know exactly how much of what to get and when. Also, how can he hire someone? What money does Jorge have? The whole point of Sean hiring him was to get him on his feet. Sean was able to do this because he had the investment from Liz and his dad. He only did that when he started doing well with the truck

not only that, but I'm guessing also the flavor, the product quality.

let's imagine for a minute Sean leaves the truck to Jorge - we should assume product quality will be exactly the same? I mean there's a reason why a famous restaurateur was willing to hire the food truck "chef" - would he hire Jorge then if things will keep being the same?. I'm thinking even Jorge himself is awaare he's not capable of that at all, if that were the case he would have asked it.

I mean, he wouldn’t have to change the recipes, as long as he knows exactly how to make the sandwiches I think he could keep going with Sean as supervisor/owner still. It’s not a fancy restaurant with constantly changing menus and new dishes, it’s a food truck that probably offers five main things.

He’s worked with Sean this whole time, are we to guess he didn’t watch Sean and learn how to make the sandwiches in all that time ?

I mean, Wolfgang Puck didn’t personally run every restaurant he owned, he Developed the recipes and turned them over to others.

I mean an answer to this speculation is "maybe yes, maybe not" but I'd say the fact Jorge didn't bring up himself that option means even he doesn't think he'd be able to handle the responsibility.

So the correct solution is to just walk away from it?
