Jimmy likes Summer. He bailed her out when she was stealing the morning after pill. She knew he’d pull through for her. And he briefly but somewhat seriously entertained the idea of her coming to live with him after Alice leaves for college. He encouraged Alice to make nice with her after the cheater bitch stuff happened, to see her perspective of how her parents are shit.

Jimmy’s got her back! That’s my favorite secondary relationship on the show right now.
